Court to Arraign Today Five Taken In March Fracas

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Arraignment of five students involved in the March 18 fracas in the Square's Waldorf Cafeteria will take place in Cambridge Third District Court this morning. The arraignment was continued from March 19 when one of the defendants James C. Corman, Dartmouth '51 was unable to appear because of injuries sustained in the brawl.

Three of the students, Peter R. Fisher '54, George M. Osgoodby, and Eben W. Keyes '54, are undergraduates here. Corman and Charles C. Hoban, a senior at Dartmouth, were visiting Osgoodby on the weekend of the incident; they arrived in Cambridge last night to attend the hearing.

The students face a total of 17 charges, including drunkenness, disturbing the peace on the Lord's Day, assaulting an officer in uniform, and attempting to rescue a prisoner. Richard Gerould '24 is counsel for Keyes and Richard Evarts '12 is defending the other three.
