Thirty University students, in co-operation with the Greater Boston Students Against U.M.T. Committee, will initiate a campaign against the pending U.M.T. bill next Monday, Richard D. Hathaway, SG, spokesman for the group, said last night.

According to Hathaway, the drive will emphasize informing the general public that "U.M.T. is not yet a law, but if passed, will be not an emergency measure, but an adoption of full peacetime conscription."

The group of University students participating represent the nucleus of a growing organization, the Harvard Peace Council, which recently petitioned for official recognition.
