The only two varsity representatives playing in the State squash championships were eliminated Monday, one by an opponent, and one by the mumps. Varsity number one man Charlie Ufford had to default because of an attack of mumps, and varsity Captain Jim Bacon lost to Harold Kaese, 15-12, 13-17, 15-11, in the quarter-final round.

The freshman "D" team plays the Harvard Club tomorrow.

Ufford is expected to be ready to play against Princeton next term.
