Class of 1928 Will Get Four Pre-Reunions

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After a successful trial run last year pre-reunions will get a big play for the 25th year gathering of the class of '28, according to Peter E. Pratt '40, Director of Alumni Records.

"The emphasis is on getting to know the College again," Pratt said. "The alumni are not just reuning on nostalgia alone. They sincerely want to know something about this product called Harvard."

Last year the class of '27 gave a record high of $275,000, and although the present figure for '28 has not been compiled, Pratt is hopeful that this year the total will be even higher.

The first pre-reunion will be an October 18th meeting of the Alumni Association directors and the key members of '28. Speeches and a tour will put these men in touch with the recent changes at the University, such as decentralization of the Dean's Office and Sophomore tutorial.

A December 17th meeting of the greater Boston and New York area graduates will be followed by a similar function in February. Tours of the College will put emphasis on having alumni see the University again.

The two days before the reunion, the 6th and 7th of June, are reserved for a pre-reunion similar to the one '28 had last year, including events similar to those of the other pre-reunions.
