Leverett's tackle football team licked Winthrop, 6 to 0, while the Puritans' touch footballers turned the tables on the Bunnies, 48 to 18, in yesterday's inter-House contests.
In the tackle game, Leverett scored the lone touchdown with only a minute and a half remaining in the game. John Bagdasarian, Bunny left half, scored on a 30-yard pass from Bucky O'Connor.
Earlier in the game, Winthrop had stopped the Bunnies twice within the Puritan's 30-yard line. Winthrop never got beyond the Leverett 40-yard line. The game was marred by several fumbles and intercepted passes on the part of both teams.
Norman Wood and Scott Cooledge were standouts in Winthrop's touch victory over the Bunnies.
In House soccer, Eliot beat the Dudley Commuters, 1 to 0.
