Dick Clasby studied for an hour exam and John Culver stood aside and watched as the varsity football team went through a light workout yesterday afternoon.
And although neither Clasby nor Culver worked out on Monday, and Culver was still a little bruised from the Dartmouth game, both will be ready to go against Davidson Saturday. Wingback John Ederer went through the longest workout of the regular backs, devoting most of the afternoon to his left handed passes.
Absent for the second day in a row with a legitimate excuse was second string fullback Jerry Blitz, who was married over the weekend. Blitz, who has scored three touchdowns, and has the best rushing average of the Crimson backs, will rejoin the team today.
Also slightly bruised and sitting it out as the jayvees ran Davidson formations against the defense, were defensive halfback Bob Cowles and linebacker Bob Hardy. Both will be ready to play Saturday, however.
