Varsity Football Team Elects Captain, MVP This Afternoon

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Next year's varsity football captain will be elected this afternoon.

All football lettermen of the past season will vote at a meeting in Dillon Field House.

Also slated for election is the team's most valuable senior who will get the Frederick Greeley Crocker Award. This award is given annually by a group of former players in honor of the 1933 Crimson end who was killed while serving on a destroyer in 1944.

Tom Ossman, starting fullback who scored five times against Brown, won the award last year.
