The Combined Charities Committee will recommend means of avoiding the "mistakes" of this year's campaign in a report which will be issued shortly to the Student Council, Chairman Carl M. Sapers '53, announced last night.
Student criticism of the drive as well as self-evaluation by the committee will be used as the basis of the report, which will be used as a reference by next year's committee.
"There's the possible idea that people at Harvard don't like our function, or think it's badly executed," commented Roger Hahn '53, publicity director of the committee. "We have a very open mind. If there's something wrong with our service we want to know about it," he added.
Problems Discussed
The committee itself will discuss technical problems like methods of publicity and relations with the Student Council. Sapers feels student criticisms should be sent to the Student Council office in PBH or communicated to House Chairmen.
Hahn termed the committee's conflict with the Council this fall as "a bit of confusion," and said the line between the functions of the two groups was too vague. He said the report should help remedy this situation.
