Students entering New Lecture Hall yesterday morning found piles of four page leaflets entitled "Appeal to Students-In Defense of Academic Freedom."

Published by the editors of New Foundations, a student Marxist magazine, the sheets urged students to work to "keep our country free of though; control, our classrooms free of censorship, and prevent our examination papers from being turned into loyalty questionnaires."
