A tall, rugged attackman named Stu Lindsey and a well drilled defense made short work of the freshman lacrosse team Saturday by a score of 14 to 1. The Yardlings were easily surpassed by the blast of the Exeters' hard shooting and superbly executed plays.

The first five minutes gave an indication of the Exonians' strength as they rocked the Yardlings with three quick goals, adding two more before the end of the period. At 3:58 of the second quarter the Crimson scored its sole tally when Pete Palches carried the ball over the midfield line and passed forward to Tim Anderson, who whirled and fired a wicked bounce shot past Exeter goalie Jim Hoover.

The rest of the game was all Exeter as its outstanding crease-man Stu Lindsey scored seven goals; one in the first period, three in the second, two in the third, and one in the fourth.
