Timpson Loses First Match In Eastern Intercollege Golf

Golfer Bill Timpson, only Crimson player to qualify for one of the 16 match-play berths in the Eastern Intercollegiate Golf Championships at Annapolis over the weekend, lost in the first round to Yale captain Line Roden, 1 down on the 19th hole.

Roden, defending champion, went on to the finals, where he was defeated by Holy Cross star Paul Harney.
