Walter Gropius, professor of Architecture, will be the featured speaker in a public symposium today. Sponsored by the Massachusetts State Association of Architects, the seminar is titled, "How May Design. Engineering and Building be Better Coordinated?" This session, the second in a series put on by the M.S.A.A., will begin at 8 p.m. at the Boston Architectural Center, 16 Somerset Avenue.

The association is cooperating with the University and M.I.T. schools of design. Another guest of the evening will be Lucio Savoia of Rome, Italy. He and his father built the scale model of the Basilica of St. Peter's, now on display at Filene's.
