Ski Team Gets Sixth Place In Warmup Lyndonville Meet

The Crimson ski team came in sixth in the nine college Lyndonville Invitational Intercollegiate meet yesterday. Dartmouth won the two day affair with a point total of 392.65, 400 being perfect, while Middlebury was close behind with 390,02. Vermont, New Hampshire, Williams, and Harvard followed in order, placing ahead of Norwich, Maine, and Colby.

The team consisted of three freshmen and one sophomore. These four managed to beat all their own division teams. John Vohr '56 turned in the best performance of the day by placing 10th out of 40 in the jump. Pete Churchill '56, Fred Churchill '55, and Charlie Beveridge '56 made up the rest of the team.
