Comic Poet Armour Attacks Recent Charges by McCarthy
November 13, 1953
Richard Armour, famed comic poet, whose light verse fills the Saturday Evening Post and the New Yorker weekly, has commented on the recent charges of Senator McCarthy in a letter to the CRIMSON. He Says:
McCARTHY AND HARVARD
Now McCarthy is tangling with Harvard
Whose color is crimson, you know, But though crimson, it's true, Is a red, it's a hue
Far brighter and deeper than Joe.
