Undefeated Squash Men to Seek Fourth Win Against Tech Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The undefeated Crimson squash team goes after its fourth straight win this afternoon against a veteran M.I.T. squad on the Homenway Courts.

Jack Barnaby's defending intercollegiate champs, fresh from a successful road trip, will face a Tech team that may prove unexpectedly strong. Eight of M.I.T.'s top players are seniors. And the two teams are rated almost even on the basis of comparative scores against their only common opponent; the Crimson shut out Dartmouth by a 9 to 0 score, while Tech won by a comfortable 7 to 2 margin.

Barnaby expoets to use the same nine men who have performed so successfully in the varsity's first three matches. Haddon Tomes will be in the number one spot, with Larry Brownell number two and Bill Wister at three. Captain Mike Ward will play in the four position, followed by Johnny Rauh at five and Paul Garrigue at six. Ted Rose at seven, Guy Paschal at eight, and A1 Stone in the number nine spot round out the Chimson lineup.

On its northern road-trip last weekend, the varsity gained easy wins over McGill University in Montreal and Dartmouth at Hanover.
