President Pusey yesterday selected as the topic for the Harvard Union Debate Council Tournament: Resolved, That any teacher who invokes the Fifth Amendment before an investigating Committee should immediately be suspended.

In answer to a request that he pick the topic for the Harvard Union Debate Council Tournament, Pusey announced his choice in a letter to council president Robert W. Scrivner '57, "This is a very live question and should create interest on either side of it. It also has the advantage that there is much to be said on both sides."

The tournament, which begins Sunday, Dec. 14, and continues for about five weeks after the Christmas vacation, is open to all freshmen who are members, of the council.

Divided into teams of two, the members will debate twice each Sunday, once negatively and once affirmatively.
