RED SOX WIN IN 12th

Three hits in the 12th inning with two out produced two runs and a 5 to 3 exhibition victory for the Boston Red Sox over the St. Louis Cardinals yesterday.

Harry Agganis singled and broke the tie when he crossed the plate on Johnny Merson's triple. It was the fourth consecutive defeat for the Cardinals in the spring games.
