Widener Purchases Trotsky's Personal Papers for Collection

Keyes D. Metcalf, Director of the University Library, yesterday announced the purchase of a collection of Leon Trotsky's personal papers and letters.

These papers supplement Widener's collection of Trotsky's political works, which have been gathered since 1940. They will be made available only to graduate students doing thesis and special work.
