Students to Stay in Classes During Mock Air-Raid Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Students in class are to continue with their regular activities during this morning's practice air-raid, the Civil Defense Advisory Committee announced.

However, those not in class will be asked to participate in the drill with the rest of the public. During the drill, automobiles will be stopped and pedestrians will take shelter.

At 9:15 a.m. an inaudible "yellow" alert will summon civil defense personnel to their positions. At 9:35 the "red" alert, a series of short siren blasts continuing for three minutes, will call the public to participate in the drill.

The all-clear "white" alert, three one minute blasts at two minute intervals, will end the drill at 9:45 a.m.
