Three students narrowly escaped injury yesterday afternoon near Central Square when a ten ton trailer truck demolished their car.

Edward M. Borges '54, the driver, escaped without injury. Thomas H. Stearns '53 has a suspected cracked rib, and Frederick Gooding, Jr. '54 has been detained in Stillman Infirmary.

The Plymouth, belonging to Authony I. Van Wye '54, Borges' roommate, is not worth repairing, according to Van Wye.

The three crashed into the truck at the corner of Franklin and Magazine Sta., at 1:50 p.m.
