The varsity wrestling team will try to prove the difference a week of rugged conditioning makes when it meets Springfield at 2 p.m. this afternoon on the Gymnasts' home mat.

Out of shape from the exam period layoff, the Crimson was humbled last week by a solid Army team which squeaked by Springfield 15 to 13. Since then, the varsity has regained its wind, and will face Springfield at near-maximum strength.

In the lightweight divisions Phil Herrera and Don Fern will replace Ed Keating and Dick Adams, who is sidelined with burns. The heavyweight lineup has juggled Captain Chandler to the 167 pound class and put Dick Hook at 157. The team remains otherwise unchanged.

The undefeated Yardling wrestling team which downed the Brown freshmen, 27 to 5, grapples an Exeter eight which lost last week to the same Brown yearlings.
