The varsity one mile relay team, which recently broke the Harvard record for the event with a 3:20.5 timing, may attempt to capture the New England A. A.U. Championship today at Providence.

Coach Bill McCurdy has tentatively entered the foursome of Jack Richards, Warron Little, Alan Hewe, and Dave Alpers in the A.A.U. games, together with a host of other runners and field event men.

Others tentatively entered are Charlie Arena, Horb Collins, and Norm Bruck, 45-yard hurdles; Hal Gorry, 3-mile run; Art Siler and Dirk Walocka, shot put; and Bob Blake high jump.

The undefeated freshman track team, led by Joel Cohen, ace dash man, hurdler, and broad jumper, will travel to Andover tomorrow afternoon.
