Junior Ken Culbert, one of the highest scoring wrestlers in eastern intercollegiate competition, pinned his eighth opponent of the season Saturday afternoon as the varsity swamped M.I.T., 26 to 6, in the Blockhouse.

Earlier, the undefeated Yardling team whipped the Engineer freshmen, 34 to 0. winning five bouts by pins. The three decisions they won were by identical 2-to-0 scores.

The varsity lost only two decision matches and took four pins and two decisions from the mediocre M.I.T. squad. The losses came in the 123-pound class, in which senior Al Muggia fell, 7 to 4, and 147-pound class in which sophomore Frank Baker dropped a narrow 6 to 5 bout.

Morrison Wins

After Captain Chick Chandler's second period pin over 157-pound Walt Lawson, the Crimson did not lose a bout. Dick Hook overpowered Peter Faderbush, 9 to 0, in the 167-pound class, Culbert's pin came at 1:05 of the first period, and heavyweight Pete Morrison slapped a body press and half nelson on M.I.T.'s Ed Zoololian in the first period to bring the meet to a rapid conclusion.

In the lightweight divisions, 130 pound sophomore Phil Herrera eked out a 1-to-0 win over Robert Zandel and Phil Burnaman in the 137-pound class pinned Engineer Jack Cennaday in 6:31 of the second period.
