Milk deliveries will be curtailed throughout New England today as over 250 "horses" congregate in Rhode Island for the 1954 opening of Lincoln Downs.

CRIMSON handicapper Clocker Spanielle says:

"Keep your eye on Pile Driver in the fourth. If you do, instruct your companion to watch the fifth and sixth races and keep you posted on the outcome."

Pile Driver, who fell asleep in the gate last year, has recently looked promising while dragging for oats in the paddock.
