Dean's Office Allows 'Green Feather' Group

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Dean Watson yesterday approved the petition of the Green Feather Committee, enabling the anti-McCarthy group to sell its pins and literature at the College dining halls. Watson was given a list of 20 undergraduates who supported the group.

Watson suspended the regulation which permitted only official undergraduate organizations to sell or distribute items on University property. He based his decision on the fact that the group did not have time to be recognized officially this term and on the need for flexibility in College rules.

Stephen S. Willoughby '54, 1GEd., an organizer of the Committee, said last night that the manufacturer's shipment of pins had been delayed and that they would not be distributed until at least Wednesday.
