Ralph "Tiger" Jones, unranked battler from Yonkers, N.Y., banged a unanimous 10-round decision over former middle-weight champion Sugar Ray Robinson at the Chicago Stadium last night.
The nationally-televised bout was a terrific blow to the hopes of Robinson, who came out of a 30-month boxing retirement in hopes of recapturing the 160-pound crown from present champion Bobo Olson.
