Four Crimson swimmers have been named to the All-American swimming team, according to a statement released Saturday by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America.
The 400-yard free-style relay team of Dave Hawkins, Chouteau Dyer, John Edwards, and Jim Jorgensen is ranked fourth on the All-American squad with a time of 3:28.1. Dyer was named in the 50-yard free-style, Hawkins in the 200-yard butterfly, and Jorgensen in the 440 and 220-yard free-styles.
Hawkins ranked second and Dyer ninth in their respective events. Jorgensen was listed eight in the 440 and fourth in the 220.
