Crimson Places Fifth In Dinghy Cup Race

Sailing in high winds, varsity sailors placed fifth out of 12 teams in the Boston Dinghy Club Cup race, won by M.I.T., Saturday and yesterday.

Art Gossard and Ace Langworthy were skippers for the varsity squad, which amassed 189 points. The Coast Guard Academy, Tufts, and Brown placed second, third, and fourth, in that order.

The Crimson, led by skippers John Deknatel and John Weske, won the M.I.T. Hexagonal Saturday with 58 points. Northeastern placed second and Dartmouth third in the meet.
