The intramural crew races, with preliminaries beginning today, will play a large part in determining which House will win the Straus Trophy this year. The two top contenders for the trophy are Winthrop and Dunster.

The Puritans ended their winter season with a total of 1000 points over the Funsters 9471/2, but Dunster has taken the lead in the baseball competition. Other House standings at the close of the winter season were Kirkland with 915 points, Eliot with 795, Leverett with 795, Lowell with 775, Adams with 735, and Dudley with 6221/2.
