One hundred girls, or one-third of the Radcliffe freshman class, are receiving scholarship help, the Office of the Dean of Instruction has announced. This compares with Harvard's 260 freshman scholarship holders, about one-fourth of the class.

This figure represents an increase in Radcliffe scholarship awards, attributable to a greater number of General Motors and other outside grants.
