Texas A. & M. Star Gets Heisman Trophy

NEW YORK, Dec. 3--John Crow, power-running back of the Texas Aggies, today was named 1957 winner of the Heisman Memorial Trophy, awarded annually to college football's outstanding player.

The 214-pound senior was the over-whelming choice of 1,267 sportswriters and sportscasters taking part in nation-wide balloting.

Crow received nearly double the votes of the runner-up, Alex Karras of Iowa.
