Eliot and Kirkland lead in their respective A and B basketball leagues, while three teams are tied in hockey, as House intramurals resumed yesterday after an inactive exam period.
In basketball, the Deacons defeated seventh place Adams, 48 to 39, while Lowell downed Winthrop, 33 to 28. Leverett beat Dudley 70 to 25.
After tonight's games, Eliot, with a 6-0 record, leads the A league, with Dunster 4-2, second. Lowell and Leverett are tied next with four wins and three losses, while Kirkland, 3-4; Winthrop, 3-4; Adams, 2-5; and Dudley, 1-6, follow.
In the B league, the record is: Kirkland, 6-0; Dunster, 5-1; Winthrop, 4-2; Leverett, 3-3; Lowell, 3-3; Adams, 2-4; Eliot, 1-5; and Dudley, 0-6.
The hockey teams of Winthrop, Leverett, and Lowell moved into a three place tie when the Bellboys downed the Puritans, 3 to 2, and the Bunnies defeated Adams, 3 to 0. Last place Eliot lost to Kirkland 4 to 0, and Dunster overpowered Dudley, 7 to 1.
