The United Fund of Greater Boston, the charity soliciting agency for United Community Services, needs Harvard and Radcliffe volunteers to canvass local precincts in its annual all-inclusive drive that aids mental hospitals, orphanages and dozens of other charitable institutions.

The nearest UF office is 53 Church St., TR 6-5214. It will be open all day Saturday and all weekdays and nights. The drive ends Wednesday, Nov. 12.
