More than 60 per cent of the blood collected in local blood drives comes from the University, according to Miss Grace, Director of the Blood Program of the Cambridge Red Cross.
"We're very grateful that Harvard keeps us going," said Miss Grace, commenting both on the number of contributors and on the work of PBH volunteers. Two hundred ninety-five pints were donated by students and a Faculty member during the first days of this week's drive at Memorial Hall.
Potential donors who may have missed their appointments earlier in the week, and others who have not made appointments can still come in today or tomorrow, Miss Grace noted.
