Harvard Fencers Win Easily Over Brandeis

Harvard's fencers ventilated Brandeis 16-11 on Monday. The Crimson swordsmen took a quick lead with a 7-2 victory in foil, and cruised the rest of the way, winning sabre 5-4 and dropping epee by the same score.

Four Harvard fencers won two matches apiece without a loss: Paul Merry and sophomore star Tom Musliner in foil, Al Makaitis in sabre, and Paul Mundie in epee. Dan Isaacson won two foil matches and lost one. The victory was the Crimson's second against one defeat, the loss coming at the hands of powerful N.Y.U.
