Fencers Lose

The Crimson fencing team suffered a surprising 16-11 defeat at the hands of an underdog Cornell squad Saturday in Ithaca.

Jon Kolb and Dan Kirsch each turned in three wins, Kolb in the sabre and Kirsch in the foll, but the rest of the team fell off sadly. Kirsch turned in an amazing performance, losing his first bout and then winning his next 15 in a row to take his bouts 5-1, 5-0, 5-0.

The Crimson closes out its season against Yale next Saturday. Last year they beat the Bulldogs, 16-11.
