The Hasty Pudding Theatricals, "America's Oldest Theatrical Organization," has named Rosalind Russell Woman of the Year for 1964. She will fly to Cambridge Monday to receive the award, arriving at the Pudding clubhouse shortly after noon.
The group will cite her woman-hood and acting excellence," and will use the opportunity to give a sneak preview of this year's Pudding show, William Had the Werdel.
Miss. Russell has started in more that 10 movies, including "Auntie Mame," "My Sister Eileen," "Mourning becomes Electra," "Picnic," "Wonderful Town," and most recently "Gypsy."
She will join the ranks of Grace Kelly, Katherine Hepburn, Joanne Woodward, Eleanor Roosevelt, Shirley MacLaine.
