Educators from all over the U.S. will try to decide whether concern for scholastic competence is overshadowing the development of social conscience Thursday and Friday in the 17th Annual Harvard Summer School Conference on Educational Administration.
The conference is expected to draw 400 high school administrators from more than 40 states.
Speakers will include Lawrence A. Cremin, Frederick Barnard Professor of Education at Columbia University; Herold C. Hunt, C. W. Eliot Professor of Education at the School of Education; and Lloyd S. Michael, superintendent of Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Illinois.
Summer School students may attend all speeches and panel discussions of the conference.
