The Harvard Lampoon's Time Parody (May 31 1964) will be published by Pocketbooks Inc. and sold to a predominately "college market" acros the country.
Pocketbooks Inc. has already started shipment of the issue, to be published in magazine form. It will cost 50c as opposed to the 'Poon's 35c edition.
The Lampoon received $2,500 in advance for the rights; royalties on the first 150,000 copies will be six per cent and eight per cent for any sales thereafter. The first printing is expected to total 100,000 copies.
The Time parody was the most successful Lampoon publication last year, selling 37,000 of the 42,000 copies printed.
