Last Draft Test Set for June 24

Students who missed the application deadline for the Selective Service college qualification test will have a second chance, but they probably will not be able to take the test at Harvard.

The Selective Service announced Monday that it will give the draft test one additional time, June 24, for students who missed the April application date, or who are unable to take the test May 14, May 21, or June 3 -- the dates previously announced.

The question of administering the fourth edition of the test at Harvard is still under consideration, but a University spokesman called it "doubtful" that Harvard would give it.

The test will be given at Harvard on the earlier dates. Students were notified last week of the date that they are to appear in Mem Hall for their showdown with Uncle Sam.

Selective Service will announce the new application deadline within the next two weeks.
