There is no better way to spend your first day at Harvard than to get away from the Square, and one of the most intriguing and profitable places to go is to Boston's own thoroughbred race track, Suffolk Downs.

Just hop on the MTA to Park Street, transfer to Government Center, and take the Airport line to Suffolk Downs, Admission is $1.50 and hotdogs are 40 cents. Post time for the first race is 1:45 p.m.

Following are today's winners listed in their order of finish:

FIRST--$3,000, maiden 3 and 4 year-olds, 6 furlongs.

AUTOMEDON is ready and willing, RING BIG will be close, DOMRULLAH'S first start should be impressive.

SECOND--$3,000, claiming (2.750-2,500) 4 year-olds and up, 6 furlongs.

PERFECT PASS is in form, ABSITOMEN will close fast, SHIPWISE will run a steady race.

THIRD--$3,500, maiden 2 year-olds, 5 furlongs.

MILOT is a fast finisher, UNASSISTED could catch the winner, LOVELY LASS can do better than in last race.

FOURTH--$3,3000, claiming ($4,000-3,500) 3 year-olds, 6 furlongs.

LEMON TRIFLE has been better in New York, RETURN PLEASURE is in form and at the right Price., BUCKET SEAT showed a strong finish last time out.

FIFTH--$3,000, claiming (3,000-2,750), 3 year-olds and up, one mile.

TURKEY LAKE is back with his class, HOME FOR SUMMER is the best of the rest, BRAIN KELLEY could surprise.

SIXTH--$3,000, claiming ($6,500-6,000), 3 and 4 year-olds, 6 furlongs.

ZEKE'S BIRTHDAY has been with better company, OPALINE and NYMPH OF OCALA are solid but slow.

SEVENTH--$4,3000, allowances, 3 and 4 year-olds, 6 furlongs.

CARRY BACK BOY will surprise, MILFORD FRED'S last was a workout WAWA DUCEY is usually second best.

EIGHTH--$4,000, claiming ($10,000-9,5000), 4 year-olds and up, 6 furlongs.

WIGGINS FORK is best, ARTIC SWIRL is second best, PROSPECT STREET is strong but moving up in class.

NINTH--$3,200, claiming ($3,750-3,500), 4 year-olds and up one and one-sixteenth miles.

CRANBERRY BOY has the class and the speed, JOE FLATS is moving up, QUAIDAIR has late speed.

Best bet: LEMON TRIFLE in the fourth race.

Longshot special: MINI MIND in the fourth race.
