Cheaper Phones For Currierites

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Currier House students have won their fight against the Radcliffe Administration and the phone company and will not be required to purchase the more expensive touch-tone trim-line phones.

Jerome S. Bruner, Master of Currier House, negotiated with the phone company this week on behalf of the 234 students who signed a petition asking that they be allowed to order regular black phones.

As a result of the discussions, the phone company will now be installing black wall phones in Currier House at no extra cost to the students.

Stylish

The more expensive touch-tone trim-line phones were originally the only phones to be permitted in Currier House. They were chosen by interior designers and the Radcliffe Administration as the best style for the Currier layout.

Students who still desire these phones will be able to order them at a later date.
