Harvard's freshmen routed an undermanned B. U. hockey squad, 8-2, Wednesday afternoon at Watson Rink, but the Crimson didn't seal the win until the third period.
The Terriers, who had nine men, scored the first goal, but the Crimson rallied and took a 4-1 lead a few minutes into the second period.
B. U. scored again, however, while controlling play in the second period. Crimson goaltender Steve Perry, who stopped 22 shots during the afternoon, was repeatedly tested during the period.
Harvard's depth and B. U.'s penalties made the final period one-sided.
