In a quiet meeting last night, thirteen members of SDS continued discussion on plans for a debate on the Herrnstein "IQ" article in the face of repeated refusals by administration spokesman and faculty to meet with them.
The members present decided that an attempt should be made to unite the various groups and ad hoc committees interested in the matter, and plan with these groups a debate with individuals supporting the Herrnstein position.
An SDS spokesman said that the groups that will be contacted included a newly-formed Dunster House anti-Herrnstein organization, the Department of Afro-American Studies, and the Department of Anthropology.
