PLATES

By Robert G. Payne

To the Editors of the CRIMSON:

A friend of mine has some plate views of Harvard University, dated 1927 and 1941, which are blue. He has many plates that are crimson and we were wondering why Harvard plates were ever made in blue instead of crimson.

I would greatly appreciate hearing if you know the reason.
