A staged version of Mozart's Magic Flute at Lowell House will be the highlight of the weekend. It's an ambitious project for a non-professional group, but the cast is generally excellent and well prepared. It's also a rare chance to hear a performance in one of Harvard's acoustically finest halls, the Lowell House Dining Hall.
The Boston Symphony Chamber Players will be here with the Brahms Horn Trio and other works, and also on Sunday, F. John Adams will lead an open sight-reading of Brahms' German Requiem.
