WHRB-FM, Harvard's radio station, resumed operations yesterday afternoon after a two week silence caused by the breakdown of the station transmitter.

Robert A. Greene '77, the station's chief engineer, said yesterday he and a technician from the transmitter manufacturer spent most of Tuesday night replacing and cleaning the transmitter's parts.

"Although we couldn't pinpoint the specific problem, we are cautiously optimistic that the transmitter will continue to function," Greene said.
