The University's real estate holdings, though not administered by the Development Office, are still an important source of alumni gifts that currently offer substantial financial benefits to Harvard. Sail Fish Point, Fla., a 775-acre tract in some of the finest undeveloped land along the Florida coast, is typical of Harvard's bizarre but rich holdings. The land, which also includes a 6600 foot beach front, is currently under negotiation for sale that could go as high as $10 million. In addition, the University is the full beneficiary of a 900 acre onion farm in Mansfield, Ohio.
