LAWRENCE, Kansas--Playboy magazine is currently interviewing women on college campuses in the Midwest for a future Playboy feature. "Girls of the Big Eight."
This will be Playboy's sixth feature on a college conference, said Playboy photographer David Chan, who also worked on the September, 1979 "Women of the Ivy League" feature. This September's issue will also have a men's fashion layout, featuring male professors as models, according to the Kansas, the daily of the University of Kansas--a member of the Big Eight.
Playboy will pay $75 for shots with clothing, $150 for semi-nude shots, and $300 for nude shots Chan said the clothing shots may be done on campus or at various spots around town. The nude and semi-nude shots will be done in the women's home, he added.
Chan is now conducting photo sessions at Oklahoma State University, where 200 women applied for interviews.
