You've probably heard of students getting locked out of their rooms.

Well, Deburah A. Lawson '85 managed to get locked into her North House single on Tuesday evening.

Lawson called a friend, who called Facilities and Maintenance, who called the Cambridge Fire Department.

Three firemen climbed into her room on a hook-and-ladder, and two others sledge-hammered the door from the hallway.

Apparently, the lock had jammed and the door-jam had locked, and it took the Firemen 100 minutes to finally set her free by prying off the door knob.
